Since Citizen Climate began, we’ve been working toward one bold goal: giving every student the chance to understand and act on climate change, starting with their own community. Climate challenges can feel overwhelming, but we believe real change starts small. Students are already leading the way through hands-on data collection, creative problem solving, and shared discovery. With support from educators, partners, and people like you, we believe climate education can become local, personal, and empowering for every young person.
We want students and schools to know exactly how Citizen Climate makes a difference. From the beginning, we’ve made a few simple commitments.
Students collect and analyze data in their own communities.
Every school gets access to our data platform, where student findings are visualized and shared.
We partner directly with teachers and schools to co-create lessons and workshops that fit their needs.
